Each year, the Top Employers Institute rigorously evaluates companies across several key areas, including talent strategy, learning and development, leadership development, performance management, and workforce planning. Our HR and Client Service Executive, Marosha Pather, explains that the decision to pursue Top Employer certification stemmed from a desire to benchmark the company’s people practices against global best standards.
“We knew we had something special and wanted to evaluate ourselves against the best. The process pushed us to reflect, grow, and elevate our people strategy. It challenged us to rethink how we attract talent, how we support growth, and how we build a future-focused, human-centred organisation,” says Pather.
Pather adds that the certification process required rigorous documentation and a more analytical lens across all HR functions, from workforce planning to leadership development. This led to a sharpened focus on consistency and greater integration of data-led decision-making throughout the business.
